Training Communications Manager Executive Summary 

Reporting to the Senior Training Program Manager, the Training Communications Manager supports the growing channels of communication for the MDMA Therapy Training Program. The Communications Manager oversees communications with practitioners from every stage of their journey with the MDMA Therapy Training Program, from prospective applicants who are just learning about the program to our robust and growing network of training alumni. The Communications Manager acts as the voice for the MDMA Therapy Training Program developing and delivering messaging and content for the general public and target audiences. This position requires top notch customer service and competence in communications, marketing, community engagement, and project management while working in a fast-pace, virtual environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver compassionate customer service.  Actively interact with and care for the growing channels of communication for all avenues of MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program both with internal and external customer support. 
  • Market training for MDMA-Assisted Therapy. Be the voice creating the conversation around MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program by attracting prospective applicants and keeping our expanding network of alumni interconnected.  
  • Drive community engagement.  Introduce creative and effective strategies for community outreach and development by managing and tracking the success of campaigns and projects. 

Minimum Requirements 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 3+ years’ experience in communications, customer experience, marketing, or community engagement 
  • 2+ years’ experience with project management in the communications field preferred 
  • Strong written and oral communication  
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail 
  • Proficient computer skills and adept at learning new systems 
  • Preferred familiarity with the mental health field
