Job Summary

The Strategic Analyst is a key growth driver for the business and provides both operational and strategic support to multiple functions and teams within Mind Cure.

Specifically, the Strategic Analyst will help prepare and present business cases, as well as distill information from various sources for senior management to make informed decisions. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can manage multiple projects and use models to present research findings. Strategic planning, business modelling and conducting industry research are all essential components of the position.

Key Accountabilities

Supports the Business Functions

  • Assists leadership team with strategic planning and business modelling
  • Work with senior leadership to define and build the organizational and analytical processes that will drive the strategy function for Mind Cure
  • Able to apply broad-based knowledge and experience about a specific area of the business to help develop and implement strategic improvement plans, identify performance gaps, and develop and support the implementation of a recommended plan of action to close the gaps and provide for long term sustainability of the initiative
  • Supports and understands the values and leadership standards of Mind Cure
  • Maintains trust among team members and broader stakeholders by following leadership team examples in terms of professional excellence and commitment to demonstrating Mind Cure values and competencies
  • Works across the organization in a nimble fashion, supporting new initiatives as required
  • Execute on pillar workplans and deliver on key analyses and projects, including multiple types of market analysis, competitive analysis, internal financial analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning
  • Maintain and update strategic scorecard and other tools to assess and drive high-quality execution of our global strategy
  • Determine appropriate decision-making processes to answer critical questions

Research Liaison

  • Conducts industry research in preparation to present distilled information for senior management to make informed decisions
  • Uses resourcefulness to gather relevant information within the fast-paced environment
  • Supports identification of key market dynamics that will impact the business over the agreed upon planning horizon

Project Management

  • Establish clear and consistent project management processes for all initiatives and track results effectively via technology including project management and CRM software
  • Manage the deliverables of external partners and contractors to ensure consistent on-time and on-budget results
  • Establish regular rhythms for marketing deliverables and track progress towards targets
  • Create and share consistent reporting, both qualitative and quantitative to senior leadership team, translating from what to why and making solutions-based recommendations

The Details

This is a full-time, permanent position working from your home office. We offer a highly attractive home office stipend and total compensation package, commensurate with experience.

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree in related field – Marketing, Finance, Business Administration
  • Advanced degree preferred, not required
  • Experience in B2B and B2C markets
  • Resourceful with strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving
  • Possesses high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to prepare and present business cases and research findings
  • Proven ability to lead with an entrepreneurial mindset and big picture thinking
  • Team focused and happy to execute and develop strategy
  • Preferably understands the use of psychedelics in the mental health space
