And as our new Research Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping take us to the next level.

What you’ll be doing

The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting the scientific research team in carrying out various research duties including literature review and data collection. The role involves working with the research community, including external experts and senior leadership, to support Mind Cure’s program to advance psychedelic therapeutics.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Perform internet searches to gather relevant information
  • Conduct literature reviews on specific topics as assigned
  • Responsible for the collection and analysis of scientific data
  • Prepare findings and update the database to include newfound information
  • Create research summaries in multiple formats
  • Give scientific opinions based on the summary of data collected
  • Assist in the coordination and development of clinical trials
  • Liaise with external experts as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with internal staff on projects as they arise
  • Assist in the development of SOPs as needed
  • Participate in the development and communication of research best practice standards
  • Perform other related duties as required by management

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate

  • 2 years of experience in an academic research environment (wet/dry lab, clinical research)
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Must be able to collect, analyze, and summarize data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Expertise in literature review and scientific writing
  • Ability to effectively interact with, engage, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders including scientists, researchers, senior-level executives, and management
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Strong data management, analysis, and critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and issues related to the research environment
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, neuroscience, or adjacent therapeutic areas is an asset

This is a full-time position working from your home office. We offer a highly attractive total compensation package, commensurate with experience.
