Soma Psychedelics is a group private practice specializing in providing anti-oppressive, social justice oriented mental health services to adults at an accessible rate. It is a new practice and an offshoot from Tucson Counseling Associates in AZ.
This Psychedelic Therapist functions as the provider of therapeutic services for clients in a private-practice setting. They work collaboratively with members of an integrated team.They are responsible for providing a variety of outpatient therapy services to clients with a variety of presentations with a focus on feminist, social justice oriented psychotherapeutic modalities. We aim to employ individuals who demonstrate commitment to personal growth and community development.
-Review, evaluate and provide initial diagnostic evaluation of clients.
-Provide individual, group, couples or family therapy services for clients.
-Provide psychedelic integration services
-Provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP)
-Continually improve quality of therapy provided via input from clinical supervision, professional conference attendance and analysis of clinical literature.
-Ensure that accurate, legible, timely and complete documentation in accordance with agency requirements.
-At least 21 years of age
-Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance.
-Master’s degree in social work or counseling psychology
-Licensed at the associate level
-Demonstrates clinical competency in accordance with standards for the position.
-Experience conducting individual, group, couples and family therapy.
-Thorough knowledge of DSM V.
-Must be LGBTQIA+, racial justice, and sex worker allied
-Credentialed with insurance carriers, preferred
-Bilingual a plus
