COMPASS Pathways is looking for a Project Manager to lead implementation of Master Control Quality suite in Compass. They will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of the projects within budget, timeline, and scope. They will also monitor and present project updates to the Steering Committee, relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

COMP360 has been designated a Breakthrough Therapy by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), and we have completed a phase IIb clinical trial of psilocybin therapy for TRD, in 22 sites across Europe and North America. We are also running a phase II clinical trial of COMP360 psilocybin therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Reports to: The Quality Operations Director. 

Location: United Kingdom (with partial office attendance). 

Type of contract: Full time, temporary contract for 6 – 9 months. 

Roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and deliver project plan to ensure efficient implementation of Master Control Quality suite at Compass
  • Oversight of Master Control implementation team working with COMPASS
  • Collaboration with eQMS project team and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects on-time, to the required quality and within budget
  • Working directly with internal Compass staff located globally to deliver project
  • Key point of contact with the Master control implementation team responsible to ensure steering committee strategy is implemented


  • Considerable experience with hands on project management experience including managing QMS implementation projects
  • Experience in Master Control use and implementation an advantage
  • An inquiring mind and great enthusiasm to work in an exciting and fast-moving environment
  • Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to deliver on time in full utilising multi-functional resources
