Clinical Research Associate Executive Summary

MAPS PBC is seeking an enthusiastic, focused, and organized person to join our Clinical Operations Department. The CRA role will report to the Director of Clinical Operations or the Clinical Program Operations Manager and will ensure that clinical trials are conducted in a timely manner and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the principles of ICH/Good Clinical Practice and all applicable regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end clinical trials: Play a key role supporting the full lifecycle of clinical trials, from design and ideation through to final reporting. This includes working cross-functionally across all teams involved in clinical research to ensure MAPS PBC runs efficient, effective, and best-in-class clinical trials.
  • Facilitate effective monitoring: monitor study sites and activities to ensure proper protocols are being followed, from supporting with personnel training through to routine site visits and close out.
  • Lead reporting & documenting: Meticulously track the progress of studies, ensuring all data is properly collected, managed, filed, and locked in a timely and accurate fashion.

Minimum Requirements

What you bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 2 years CRA site management, monitoring or other relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. regulations governing clinical trials.
  • A bio-medical related scientific degree or relevant experience with a strong interest in clinical research.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel >30%.
  • Cover letter required, incomplete applications may not be considered.
